Quenepa fruit has a tight and thin but rigid layer of skin, traditionally cracked by the teeth. Below that is the tart, tangy yellow pulp of the fruit. Each fruit has a large seed inside
of about the same size of the outer skin, the same ovoid shape as the fruit itself. Quenepa seeds can be roasted and eaten just like sunflower seeds.
Oh yes! You can suck on one Quenepa for hours! —

*Hint: Traditionally, these fruits were not given to under
age children, because of the risk of swallowing the seed. Back in the old
days, parents used to split fruits in two before feeding them to their kids.
They too will enjoy the fresh taste of these fun-to-eat delicious fruits.

*Hint 2:
Wear old clothing when eating these
fruits….stains are permanent.

My Quenepa trees can not hold one more quenepa
flower! They are soooo sweet!

Here is How to Pre-Order:

to deliver. If your package takes more than 3 days in transit we will not be able to guarantee fresh fruit delivery.

Hello Wanda– reason why you having problems trying to pre-order these fruits is because they are not available for pre-sale as of yet. It looks like Mother Nature will take a little longer than usual to get these fruits ready for us to enjoy this summer. Thanks for writing!

Hi… I am interested in purchasing a few pounds once they become ready. My question is, how long do they last once they are picked from the tree?

They can last up to 2 weeks if you wrap them in brown paper and place them in lower drawer (where vegetables go) in the refrigerator :)
Thanks for your inquiry! Deadline for placing quenepas orders are every Saturday before midnight while supply last.
